Company X are a growing SME, 30% of the workforce have worked for the company for most of their professional careers. As the company was growing, employees were still applying the small business approach to large scale issues. Internally, longer-term existing employees started to struggle with the newly appointed employees that were brought in to professionalise the business and manage the changes in systems and processes that were required to house the increased customer base and maintain customer satisfaction.
The situation was, existing employees resistance to change and new talent brought in were being limited by the negativity associated with the change.
Blended learning conducted a full day executive board discovery session where it was identified the wider workforce and the leadership community needed to take on more ownership. There had been several attempts to change which had failed and the board was struggling to get everyone pulling in the same direction.


Blended team also conducted the same type of discovery with the leadership, resulting in similar findings.
The blended team attended the offices to get a feel of the culture, environment and how people communicated.
We recommended a programme that aligned with the steering group direction for the executive board and the wider leadership. We were able to conduct programmes for both teams and bridge the gap through a range of proven theories and practical exercises that could be embedded.
Utilisation of the team building service package offering – the blended team facilitated team building activities for the executive and the wider leadership team. This broke down barriers and aided improved communication.
Through the post learning support, we conducted individual coaching sessions to support the board and the leadership team in driving change, and the wider leadership team to thread within their teams.
